'I’M NOT QUEER, I’M DISEMBODIED’ EXCLUSIVE EDITORIAL CAPTURED BY JESPER TRIP

Numéro Netherlands Digital presents an exclusive editorial entitled “I’m not queer, I’m disembodied,” captured by Jesper Trip and featuring Daniel Montero Real and Jesse Bouma. This special fashion story was made possible through our collaboration with MUBI Nederland, in celebration of the release of Queer, the new film by Luca Guadagnino, now streaming on MUBI.

This story is our way of visually interpreting the film and the complex relationship between the main character, played by Daniel Craig, and the man who fascinates him, played by Drew Starkey. In Queer, Guadagnino explores themes of desire, distance, and identity. Through photography, styling, and atmosphere, we bring those emotions to life—focusing on the tension between closeness and separation, presence and absence. Here, being “disembodied” becomes a way to express a feeling of not fully belonging, of floating between connection and isolation.
