LEVI’S® LAUNCHES NEW BLUE TAB™ COLLECTION: A TRIBUTE TO JAPANESE DENIM CRAFTSMANSHIP

Levi’s® introduces its latest Blue Tab™ collection in Europe, inspired by the legacy of Japanese denim craftsmanship. Titled A New Shape of Blue, the collection showcases Levi’s® most refined and premium interpretation of denim to date, portraying traditional craftsmanship with new design.

Made from high-quality Japanese denim, each piece reflects precise attention to detail and honors centuries-old techniques. The collection features sculptural silhouettes, utility-inspired tailoring, and detailed finishes.

For men, standout pieces include the Naval Sack Coat, inspired by 1940s maritime workwear with quilted lining and donut-style buttons, and the Type I Jacket, reimagined with a tailored fit and shorter length. Other highlights are the Relaxed Button-down Shirt, Work Shirt, and Marker Loose jeans, made from denim by the renowned Kaihara mill.

The women’s collection focuses on elegant tailoring and feminine details. Key pieces include the Mariner Peacoat with a detachable satin lining, the structured Shank Trucker, and the flowing Seamed Skirt with curved paneling.

The campaign, shot by photographer Juergen Teller, captures the beauty of a traditional Japanese sentō, emphasizing the connection between denim, art, and culture.
