LEVI’S® X SACAI: DENIM REWORKED IN A NEW COLLABORATION

Levi’s® and sacai have teamed up once again, taking Levi’s® iconic denim and flipping it on its head. Chitose Abe, sacai’s creative director, brings her signature hybrid style, blending familiar Levi’s® cuts with sacai’s unexpected design touches.

The women’s section of the Levi’s® x sacai collection introduces several standout pieces, including the Levi’s® x sacai Denim Jacket. This piece fuses elements of Levi’s® Type II and Type III jackets in the front, with a Type I-inspired back, complete with the signature belted back. Offered in both indigo and blue, the jacket features a boxy, A-line silhouette and refined details like finished seams and paneling that help maintain its sculptural shape. Another key piece is the Levi’s® x sacai Denim x Matelassé Twill Jacket, crafted with sacai’s signature matelassé fabric and offering a unique, layered interior design. Completing the women’s offerings is the Levi’s® x sacai Jumpsuit, a stylish blend of bib-style bodice, camisole straps, and a flared leg, incorporating lightweight denim panels for an elegant drape.

For the men’s collection, sacai’s hybrid aesthetic takes a more streamlined form. The Levi’s® x sacai Denim Jacket channels the fusion from the women’s pieces but simplifies the silhouette. Another key piece, the Denim x Matelassé Twill Reversible Blouson, embodies versatility. This jacket can be worn inside-out, revealing raw-edge selvedge and premium materials, including anchor buttons and custom zippers. Two variations of this blouson are offered in indigo x black or blue x khaki.

This collaboration redefines the possibilities of Levi’s® iconic pieces while staying true to the timeless spirit of the brand. The collection will be available at exclusive pop-ups and online starting May 28.
