GIORGIO ARMANI

In a collection imbued with timeless elegance, Giorgio Armani takes the sea as the central inspiration for the Spring/Summer 2026 season. The runway was graced with fluid silhouettes that walked down the runway in graceful coordination, flowing like water down a stream.

Through Giorgio Armani signature approach the whole collection exuded sophistication and refinement, so that every look is at the same time sharp and deconstructed. Trousers adorned with a subtle diagonal chess pattern twisted around conventional tailoring, while variations of blues brought endless poetry to the whole. Shirts and blazers with round collars further enhanced the easy and smooth atmosphere of the collection, letting go of the sharpness and sometimes binding effect of the classic button-up collar.  A full fuchsia look clashed with the ocean of blue like the cherry on top of a sky-like cake. Special mention to the fisher hats that knew how to get noticed and balanced the feeling of newness with this refined collection.

DAVID CATALAN

David Catalán served a collection with a distinct retro energy full of bold stripes, check patterns, and vibrant windbreakers. A theme of summer utility ran throughout, with coordinated sets crafted from thin technical fabrics, loaded with functional pockets. Globe bells became a signature motif: dangling from socks, sweatshirts, denim, or transformed into jewelry. One standout accessory resembled a small metallic bag — really just a hollow ring with clustered bells that chimed as the model moved. There were plenty of sweat sets, a wide color palette ranging from earthy beiges and greys to vivid blues and yellows. Cargo made a strong showing — shorts, denim, trousers — all styled with mid- to low-rise waists. Fluid, shiny leather pieces and compact bucket hats completed the look, grounded by simple sneakers.

Undoubtedly a nod to the bold spirit of the 80s, with vivid colours, striking shapes, and a sense of playful self-expression from a time when dressing was pure fun. Yet, there's a clear modern twist: the pieces feel refined, chic, and unmistakably rooted in the 2020s. Are the 80s making a comeback?
