RAG & BONE PRESENTS HIGH SUMMER/PRE FALL 25 COLLECTION

words by NATALIE GAL

Rag & Bone’s summer campaign is all about spontaneity—pieces made for beachside picnics, city walks, or even a busy day at the office.

The women’s collection is light-hearted and minimal, but still playful. It’s effortless: florals, Breton stripes, mother-of-pearl button embroidery, and a hint of lace. The inspiration? The Pearly Kings and Queens of London. Who were they? Working-class icons dating back to the 19th century. They came from the street traders, who started sewing mother-of-pearl buttons onto their clothes to stand out. Their story is deeply tied to cockney culture, and that same spirit and character, a true British charm runs through the collection.

The men’s collection, on the other hand, draws inspiration from downtown Manhattan, not hidden corners of London. It’s all about modern tailoring made from technical fabrics, linen, and terrycloth. Breathable, easy silhouettes that capture the cool, effortless vibe of Lower NYC.

Both collections revolve around an earthy, sun-washed palette—sand, taupe, soft pinks, and blues—punctuated by hits of white, yellow, red, and violet. The styling itself feels spontaneous: tailored blazers with relaxed shorts, semi-sheer shirts thrown over denim, leather belts giving shape to airy dresses. It’s all made for long, unpredictable summer days.

Rag & Bone’s High-Summer/Pre-Fall 2025 collection is a modern wardrobe that blends style and practicality for women and men who move with intention and aren’t afraid to keep things spontaneous.

The collection will drop in three phases—May, June, and July—with the first release available now in Rag & Bone stores and online.
