Sarah Burton’s fabulous looks are the talk of the town as her first campaign with Givenchy makes its debut. The British designer has brought a distinctive, refreshing vision to the iconic house. Let’s take a closer look.
The collection feels modern and refined, fresh without being overstated. Burton balances classically feminine silhouettes with bolder, more experimental designs. Yet the campaign itself remains strikingly held back: minimal backdrops, no dramatic effects, Burton is letting the clothes and women take center stage.
The casting is particularly meaningful. Women of different ages and body types appear throughout, sending a powerful message. These are clothes designed by a woman for women, an understanding of our desire to sometimes feel confident and sensual, sometimes playful and quirky, and at other times strong and sharp in a beautifully tailored suit.
As Burton explains:
