BVLGARI IS SET TO OPEN THEIR NEW RESORT AND PRIVATE MANSIONS IN ABU DHABI: A NEW AGE FOR HAUTE HOSPITALITY

words by NATALIE GAL

I bet the last time you heard the name Bvlgari, you thought of glamorous jewelry or iconic perfumes — maybe you still do. But here’s some news that might just change how you see the brand: Bvlgari is opening a new resort in Abu Dhabi. The only downside? We’ll have to wait until 2030. But let’s face it — good things take time, and that time will pass anyway.

This upcoming resort promises all the luxury you can imagine: 60 rooms and suites, 30 exclusive villas with private pools, and 90 private mansions. One of its standout features is set to be a 2,000-square-meter spa with indoor and outdoor pools, lush gardens, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. And yes, you can also expect a private beach and an ultra-exclusive yacht club.

The architecture comes from ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, a Milan-based studio known for its Italian elegance, attention to detail, and charm. Watching that vision blend with Arabic hospitality, art, and nature? That’s going to be something special.

There will be multiple restaurants, each with its own culinary concept and philosophy. Expect standouts like the Japanese fine-dining spot Hōseki and Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, bringing a refined take on Italian cuisine.

When asked about the new resort, Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin called it “a new high point in the world of haute hospitality.” And he would know — this isn’t the brand’s first foray into five-star living. With existing properties in Milan, Paris, London, Dubai, and Tokyo, Bvlgari Hospitality is already world-class. And the future? Miami, Bodrum, and the Maldives are next.
