GUNPOWDER INDIAN BISTRO: INDIAN FLAVOURS IN LISBON’S HISTORIC HEART
Gunpowder brings a fresh, vibrant take on Indian cuisine to Lisbon, blending traditional recipes with a modern, progressive approach. Originating in London in 2015, the restaurant quickly earned a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand and expanded across the UK before opening its first international branch in Chiado, Lisbon, in late 2022. Gunpowder celebrates the historic connection between Portugal and India, especially Goa, by combining authentic regional Indian dishes with the best Portuguese ingredients to create bold, flavour-packed plates in a lively bistro setting.
