The opening of Martinhal Residences and Martinhal Lisbon Oriente was recently announced, as the latest hotel project developed by the award-winning Martinhal Group. Situated in the artistic heart the Parque de Nações neighborhood, its signature modernist architecture and energy fits in perfectly.

Recognised as one of the top branded residences in Europe, the Martinhal Group hosts four luxury family hotels and resorts in Portugal, developed by its founders, Chitra and Roman Stern. Together, this international couple have developed award-winning hotel and residential properties with a focus on family holidays.

With their newest venture, they aim at redefining residential tourism with a fresh twist. The project merges luxury residential flats and tourist apartments into a singular building, allowing them to welcome a myriad of different guests. The area it is located in emits a youthful yet family-friendly energy, that perfectly matches the wide target audience.

The architecture crafts a delicate balance between elegant aesthetics and functionality to create a unique identity that encapsulates Martinhal’s mission. An abundance of vegetation brings life to the structure, from its green façade to the vertical garden and terrace spaces, pairing with clean architectural lines to strengthen the connection between the built environment and nature. A passion for the arts also remains a key characteristic of the project, with commissions from local artists adorning the public space.

The project also introduces the Terrace Restaurant. With a service from dawn to midnight, it offers a vast menu to ensure variation throughout the day. The relaxed and elegant atmosphere is inspired by the freshness and seasonality of the ingredients and the diversity of gastronomic experiences.Influences from Mediterranean to oriental-inspired cuisine paired with Portuguese produce create a truly intensive experience.
