As titans of their respective industries, the two iconic brands know a thing or two about high-octane performance, whether on the racetrack or in the kitchen. Luckily for us, a new collaboration sees Porsche and SMEG join forces to release a line of kitchen appliances that combine form, function, and emotion.

When it comes to these two brands, there’s no shortage of inspiration, whether one looks to Porsche’s rich motorsport history or SMEG’s iconic design DNA. This collection is an amalgamation of those influences, drawing on the past and looking to the future to create something enduring and timeless. The collection is anchored by the legacy of the legendary Porsche 917 KH—in its iconic Salzburg livery—the car that led Porsche to its first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1970. This triumph was a pivotal moment in the brand’s history, and to celebrate this achievement the collection includes a striking red refrigerator and matching automatic coffee machine, each limited to 1,970 numbered pieces.

Elsewhere in the collection there is a line of appliances in ‘Carrara White Metallic’ and ‘Shade Green Metallic’ that pay homage to the design of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, replete with characteristic Porsche stripes. In this collection design-lovers will find a refrigerator, toaster, kettle, and blender, all thoroughly modern odes to heritage, emotion, and aesthetics in everyday life.
