For all the K-pop fans, 2026 just got way better! BTS have officially announced their long-awaited return with their fifth full-length album, set for release at midnight of 20 March. Already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year, the album will arrive alongside a global world tour, marking the group’s full return to the international stage.

The upcoming record represents a defining moment for BTS, reflecting both their evolution and their desire to define themselves on their own terms. Developed during the second half of 2025, the 14-track album is rooted in personal introspection, with each member contributing individual perspectives that collectively shape the project’s direction.

In parallel with the album announcement, BTS confirmed plans for a world tour, with full dates and venues to be revealed on 14 January at midnight. The tour will be their first large-scale global outing in nearly four years, following the conclusion of BTS Permission to Dance on Stage in Las Vegas in April 2022.

Ahead of the announcement, the group reached out directly to their official fandom ARMY through handwritten letters sent worldwide expressing gratitude to fans who have supported them throughout the years. The letters were delivered to Weverse members, with digital versions becoming available later this month.

Adding to the anticipation, BTS also reset their official Instagram account at midnight on 1 January, instantly igniting speculations. With a new official website now live, further details surrounding the album and tour are expected to unfold in the coming weeks.
