Revisiting “Da Fonk” with a remix pack featuring Marco Carola, DJ Gigola and Confidence Man. His upcoming partnership with Bose and Bose Records, and Tricks & Tracks takeover of New York’s iconic Brooklyn Banks with Amazon Music and Twitch further expand his growing creative world.
Mochakk returns to New York this August for a three-day takeover spanning Tricks & Tracks at the Brooklyn Banks on August 28th, Under The K Bridge on August 29th, now on low-ticket warning, and RUINS at Knockdown Centre on August 30th, which sold out during pre-sale. Bringing together skate culture, community-driven experiences and large-scale club shows, the weekend captures the energy and crossover culture at the heart of Mochakk’s NYC presence.
From legendary video parts to appearances in games like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, the Brooklyn Banks became a symbol of skate culture itself. Mochakk brings Tricks & Tracks to the newly reopened Brooklyn Banks on August 28th, reviving the energy of his viral Venice Beach activation with a Skate for Cash session hosted alongside X Games’ Steve Rodriguez, followed by an open-air DJ set. Blending skateboarding, house music and community, the one-night event will transform the iconic skate spot into a unique NYC block party, with the entire event livestreamed in partnership with Amazon Music and Twitch, and supported by Bose.
Four years after its original release, Mochakk’s signature track “Da Fonk” returns with a major remix pack featuring Marco Carola, Confidence Man, Cinthie, DJ Gigola, Classmatic, Solarce Brothers, DJ Fuzil, Bronka, Deekapz and kLap. With over 60 million Spotify streams, the Nervous Records classic will also receive a limited-edition three-vinyl release, with the remix pack landing across streaming platforms on August 28th and already supported by Pete Tong.
