KIMI ANTONELLI WINS THE FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026
At the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026, victory arrived with its own baggage. On June 7th, nineteen-year-old Italian racing driver Kimi Antonelli claimed the trophy in Monaco, presented inside the Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk, marking a defining moment for Antonelli’s career as well as the Maison’s growing relationship with Formula 1.

The race rounded off the sixth Grand Prix of the 2026 season and marked Louis Vuitton’s second season as an official partner of Formula 1, as well as its first year as Title Partner of the Monaco Grand Prix. In a setting already synonymous with speed, spectacle and luxury, the partnership felt like a collision of Monaco’s spirit marked by sport, travel, craftsmanship and status.
Just before the starting grid and national anthem, actress and House ambassador Hoeyeon unveiled the trophy by opening the Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. Wearing a blush pink satin dress, a brown Vanity Low Key bag, brown Romy flat ballerinas, Le Damier de Louis Vuitton rings in yellow gold and Color Blossom earrings, she embodied the Maison’s polished and contemporary presence on the circuit.
The trunk itself appeared throughout key moments of the weekend, from the starting grid to the podium, where it accompanied the trophy presentation to Antonelli. Designed to protect and showcase the Monaco trophy, it continues Louis Vuitton’s long tradition of transforming travel objects into symbols of cultural memory.
For 2026, the Maison introduced the Victory patch to add to the trophy trunks. Inspired by traditional travel labels, the patch is engraved with the winner’s initials, turning each trunk into a living archive of racing history. Following his win, Antonelli’s initials were added alongside those of Lando Norris, winner of the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.
