RALPH LAUREN RETURNS TO WIMBLEDON FOR A THIRD DECADE OF PARTNERSHIP

words by MAREK BARTEK

For nearly sixty years, Ralph Lauren has looked to the world of sport as a source of inspiration, building an aesthetic that sits on the intersection of athleticism and classic American style.

Entering the third decade, only few partnerships feel as “destined to be together” as Ralph Lauren and Wimbledon. Returning as the Official Outfitter of The Championships, the American house remains the first and only designer in Wimbledon’s 149-year history to hold the distinction.

This year, the partnership extends far beyond the courts. Across London, New York and Hong Kong, Ralph Lauren will celebrate the tournament through a series of activations ranging from storefront takeovers to immersive retail experiences and large-scale visual installations.

To mark the occasion, the brand is also introducing a Wimbledon Purple Label capsule for the first time. Crafted in Italy, the collection includes elevated takes on sporting classics, from reversible jackets and cable-knit cardigans to a cashmere Polo Bear sweater, each detailed with intricate embroidery that refers to both Ralph Lauren and Wimbledon universes. Alongside it arrives the Polo Ralph Lauren x Wimbledon 2026 collection, featuring updated tennis whites, performance pieces and accessories that continue to explore the ties between sport and lifestyle.

Visitors attending The Championships are to be treated to a Ralph Lauren’s delight. The Boutique & Café by Ralph Lauren will transform the Southern Village into a hospitality destination complete with refreshments, soft-serve ice cream and a setting — all inspired by Wimbledon’s iconic green-and-white palette. Meanwhile, fans will have the opportunity to test their reactions and agility through an experience inspired by the selection process for Wimbledon’s ball boys and girls.

Away from the tournament itself, London’s Sloane Square once again becomes home to Ralph Lauren’s Summer of Sport. The month-long programme includes live discussions, workshops, family activities, open-air screenings of Wimbledon matches and a Ralph’s Coffee pop-up. A portion of proceeds from selected activities will support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity through Ralph Lauren’s longstanding Pink Pony initiative.

As Wimbledon prepares for another summer, Ralph Lauren continues to prove that its connection to the tournament is no longer simply a sponsorship, but a tradition in its own right.
