A SHARED VISION OF TRANSPARENCY: CFCL X VEJA
You’ve most likely spotted a VEJA pair or two out in the wild. They’ve been everywhere lately and, with their focus on sustainability and minimalist design, it was only a matter of time before they became a favourite. Another brand operating on a similar plane is CFCL, short for Clothing For Contemporary Life. CFCL most recently presented VOL.11 on the final day of the Spring/Summer 26 Women’s Paris Fashion Week, a collection that paired transparency with rounded silhouettes, designed for sophisticated women who still need something functional for everyday life. Naturally, the most functional item of all should be our shoes, ready to carry us through daily life. It is at this junction that the collaboration between VEJA and CFCL was formed. The consistency with which CFCL has elevated the inherent comfort of knitwear now finds a new expression in footwear, through the new V-90.

What makes this collaboration feel so natural is the shared philosophy between both brands. It marks CFCL’s first partnership with another B Corp–certified company, meaning both uphold high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Rooted in a shared commitment to greater transparency within the sneaker supply chain, this collaboration feels like an admirable and genuinely exciting step, one that more sneakerheads should take note of.
The result is a timeless, sporty design that speaks to the aesthetics of both VEJA and CFCL. It arrives in an off-white natural tone accented with reflective details, as well as a black version highlighted with CFCL’s signature pale blue. Design-wise, the laces are concealed within hidden eyelets, while subtle VEJA and CFCL logos appear on the front and back tabs, keeping everything clean and wearable.
Materials follow suit, organic trace leather is used for the panels, while Amazonian rubber, bio-based materials, and organic cotton round out the construction, fully in line with both brands’ B Corp ethics. Easy to wear, easy to love the V-90 proves that when comfort and conscience align, good things follow.
