BIBI VAN DER VELDEN INTRODUCES ‘JEWELS ON WHEELS’ – A TRAVELLING HIGH JEWELLERY EXPERIENCE
Bibi Van der Velden introduces ‘Jewels on Wheels’, a travelling high jewellery experience that reimagines how fine jewellery can be discovered and experienced. Launching on 15 July 2026, the project takes the house’s distinctive world beyond the traditional boutique and into motion, with a vintage Citroën HY van transformed into a mobile jewellery vitrine.
Designed as both a travelling boutique and a living artwork, the van features fantastical flowers, sculptural elements and a curated selection of Bibi’s signature jewellery, alongside one-of-a-kind high jewellery creations. A small couch creates an intimate space for private appointments, while an outdoor tableau, complete with an alligator-themed game, references one of the house’s most recognisable motifs.
The concept reflects Bibi Van der Velden’s long-standing fascination with transformation, mechanics, movement and discovery. Rather than simply displaying jewellery, ‘Jewels on Wheels’ encourages clients to discover pieces through personal and unexpected encounters, connecting jewellery with landscape, travel, light and context.

Throughout the summer, Bibi will travel across Europe with her family, visiting a curated selection of destinations in Italy, Spain, France, Belgium and Switzerland. The journey begins with intimate trunk shows at Hotel Il Pellicano in Porto Ercole and Casa Club in Ibiza, followed by presentations, private client events and members’ club gatherings in locations including Saint-Tropez, Lucca, Monaco, Biarritz, Knokke and Geneva.
The project marks a further evolution of Bibi’s positioning within high jewellery, following her Enchanted Forest collection and appointment as House Jeweller at Rosewood Amsterdam. ‘Jewels on Wheels’ embodies a more narrative and experiential approach to luxury, where craftsmanship and storytelling are experienced through movement, memory, personal connection and a sense of playful magic.
