In this editorial, VINCENZO VALENTE invites us into a liminal space: a bathtub filled with water suspended in a whited-out realm. In an ode to texture, Valente captures POLLY in architectural positions; at times one with the water, at times transcending the elements with structural authority. As the clothes are shaped by the liquid, texture and depth take centre stage, with colours ranging from saturated whites to reddish blacks and glimmering golden browns. It all renders as a highly tactile study in contrasts: light and dark, clear and murky, soft and rough, dry and wet.
