KIKO KOSTADINOV AND OAKLEY TAKE THEIR COLLABARTION OFF THE RUNWAY
Kiko Kostadinov and Oakley are coming together again following the AW26 Fashion Week in Paris for a limited-edition release of the Ellipse eyewear.
The references for the eyewear come from a futuristic, yet natural approach to design, continuing the concept that was established for the AW26 runway collection. The Ellipse is reinterpreted through custom treatments developed by Kiko Kostadinov’s Women's creative leads: twin sisters and designers Laura and Deanna Fanning, and Oakley, bringing together organic textures and Oakley’s distinctly technical aesthetic.
The woodgrains and feather patterns change the surface of the frames, that’s inspired by the collection its fascination with birdwatching and the outdoors.
By balancing futuristic, contemporary and retro references, the Ellipse embraces different chapters of Oakley’s design heritage. The circular shape and 90s-inspired curved details pay homage to the Oakley ellipse logo, while the custom surface treatments give the frame a new context within Kiko Kostadinov’s world.
The limited-edition Ellipse comes in two colourways, for more diverse styling choices: Amherst Fad or Woodgrain, both with Prizm Bronze lenses.
The collection is currently available at selected Kiko Kostadinov retailers and Oakley stores worldwide.
