FRENCH VISIONARY FRANCOIS X UNVEILS PART ONE OF HIS LATEST TECHNO EP ‘THE SKIN BETWEEN US’

On June 20, Paris-based producer and techno innovator François X unveils The Skin Between Us, the opening chapter of a bold two-part EP released via his acclaimed XX LAB imprint.

François X’s voice within the techno landscape has long been one of forward momentum and revolutionary vision. Rising from the underground circuit of Paris, he built his artistic foundations as a resident at the iconic Concrete, developing a sound that merges hypnotic grooves with experimental textures. This sonic fingerprint has taken him from the French capital to global stages such as Berghain, fabric, Awakenings, and Melt Festival.

As a producer, he’s created a catalogue of influential platforms like MDR, BPitch Control, Exhale, and Fabric, with each release pushing techno into new emotional and structural territory. His 2018 debut album Irregular Passion offered a glimpse into his capacity for crafting immersive, story-driven music.

Far more than a traditional release, The Skin Between Us serves as a deeply intimate and conceptual body of work. A personal exploration of identity, vulnerability, and legacy.
