GIULIA BE RELEASES HER MUSIC VIDEO FOR ‘CLOSURE’

Two-time Latin Grammy nominee and Brazilian artist GIULIA Be releases an emotional, cinematic music video for her track ‘Closure’ from her self-written and self-titled trilingual album GIULIA BE on November 7th. The vulnerable song serves as a metaphor for the raw aftermath of heartbreak, loneliness, and emotional healing.

The album was released in three separate chapters — and three languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish throughout 2026. GIULIA BE created a music video for each 21 songs, with "Closure" serving as the final track of her 21-track self-titled album. The artist shared with us in June how the songs are connected to each other and how the characters evolve as the emotions shift. For GIULIA BE, it was very important to create this cinematic world for her album, where she co-directed all the videos alongside director Olivia Mucida and creative director Lennyn Salinas.

In the music video, GIULIA BE delivers an acoustic guitar performance that shows the raw and intimate emotions of a breakup. The dramatic visuals behind her, featuring fire, smoke, and debris, alongside her distressed gown help convey the deep emotional weight of the song.

At the end of the video a miniature house introduced in the beginning reappears engulfed in flames, serving as a striking representation and metaphor of emotional heartbreak and the literal ash left behind when a relationship ends, while also showing the end the journey of healing and letting go, making that the final emotional development of her character's arc in the album.

Ultimately, both the music video and the song play as a good example of emotional story telling, working together to make the experience where the viewers can truly feel these intense emotions.
