$HIRAK AND JONNA FRASER BRING ‘WAGMI’ TO LIFE IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Following the release of We’re All Gonna Make It (WAGMI), $hirak and Jonna Fraser now bring the track’s message fully into view with its official music video, brought to you by Bitvavo, a celebratory ode to Dutch culture and the collective euphoric energy that surrounds Oranje during the tournament season.

Directed by Camille Boumans, the video expands around the familiar visual language of local football: the pitch, the stands, the players, the fans, and all the rituals that come with such a deeply rooted and shared national moment. With Bitvavo having served as a KNVB partner since 2022, WAGMI brings together two worlds that are more connected than they might first appear: crypto and football. The video builds a playful universe around it, combining stadium emotion with internet culture, football memes, and crypto references, for a very present-day humour.

Cameos from figures including players Brandley Kuwas, Quincy Kluivert, Edward van Gils, the so-called Dutch Queen of Cheese, Miek van Rens-Verbers, and Bart Mol of Satoshi Radio add to the video’s sense of relevance and humour. The result is a very optimistic meeting point of different personalities and cultural references, from the beginning shot of a febo-looking sandwich stand, to the Delft blue windmills landscapes appearing at the end.

That energy also expanded live just two days ago, on June 3, when $hirak and Jonna Fraser performed the track from the centre circle at De Kuip in Rotterdam ahead of the Dutch national team’s send-off match. The performance gave WAGMI its first real stadium moment, transforming the song into almost a proper collective chant. Surrounded by the scale of the stadium and the anticipation around Oranje, the track’s message of belief landed powerfully.
